SHARPSVILLE, Pa. — Marie Jane Miodrag Rossi, 84, of Sharpsville, Pa, handed away peacefully surrounded by her youngsters Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.
Marie was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Farrell, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Alexandria “Lena” Viconovic Miodrag.
Marie was a 1955 graduate of Sharpsville Excessive Faculty and graduated from the Trumbull Memorial Hospital Faculty of Nursing in Warren in 1958. She labored for six years at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, as an open-heart surgical nurse, after which at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., as a surgical nurse, earlier than returning dwelling and beginning her lengthy profession with Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She loved cooking and baking for her household and mates. She particularly beloved to bake cookies. She beloved Christmas and being at her home was all the time wonderful. She was an avid reader. Marie grew up on a farm and had a fantastic love for animals.
Marie was a member of St. Bartholomew Church in Sharpsville. She was a member of the TMH Faculty of Nursing Alumni Committee. When her youngsters have been younger, she was the president of the Homeroom Moms’ Affiliation for a number of years. She would fundraise for the Most cancers Society and the Coronary heart Affiliation.
Marie is survived by her son, Ralph A. (Tiffany) Rossi of West Middlesex, Pa.; and two daughters, Traci (Jonathan) Multari of Hermitage, Pa., and Shari (Brent) Sollberger of Cortland; and three grandchildren, Michael Rossi, Mark Rossi and Mason Sollberger.
Marie was preceded in loss of life by her dad and mom and her husband.

A Mass of Christian Burial can be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Sharpsville, Pa., with the Very Rev. Richard Allen EV, officiating. Buddies are welcome to satisfy straight at church.
Entombment will happen in St. Rose Mausoleum Hermitage, Pa.
