A Proclamation on Nationwide Arts And Humanities Month, 2022

     For hundreds of years, American arts and humanities have been a beacon of sunshine and understanding, recording our historical past and advancing new methods of pondering.  This Nationwide Arts and Humanities month, we have a good time our Nation’s visionary artists, students, and creators whose work touches and divulges the soul of America.

     My Administration is dedicated to creating the humanities and humanities extra accessible to folks of all ages and background, uplifting extra voices, inspiring new generations, and exhibiting the complete energy of our instance as a fantastic Nation.  We have invested a whole bunch of hundreds of thousands of {dollars} in strengthening the Nationwide Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the Nationwide Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and our American Rescue Plan allotted over a billion extra to assist museums, libraries, theaters, live performance halls, and different venues get better from the pandemic.
