I went this morning to my local microcenter and they only had two 3070s left, which i really don't even even need, because i work in vr/ar industry and need at least 3080 or a 3090 for rendering animations and gpu calculations in unreal engine and really don't feel like dropping 3k for a scalped version. I live near the tustin micro center. Without trying to verify the claims, i instantly drove over there (random weekday around 11am) and sure enough they had many 3070's in stock (they got 3080's too but those had sold out) so that's how i got mine.
