
HOWLAND — Rebecca S. McCauley, 80, of Howland, handed away peacefully at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022.
The daughter of Forrest and Dorothy Smith, Rebecca was a 1960 graduate of Howland Excessive College.
She loved artwork and was energetic in Howland’s Nation Riders 4-H Saddle Membership, which she established along with her sister, Barbara. Throughout her senior 12 months, she was specifically chosen to fill a scholar place at Trumbull Nation Membership. She had early years of enjoyment working at Roberta’s Girls Specialty Store on Warren’s Courthouse Sq..
Rebecca sparked her lifelong love of touring at age 6, on highway journeys along with her dad, mother and sister. These household adventures had been first to Florida, subsequent the size of Route 66 from Chicago throughout the Southern states to California’s southern coast, then throughout the Northwestern U.S. to the Redwoods, and eventually to the Northeast, all the best way to Maine and into Canada. She was an Air Power spouse for over 20 years. Throughout this time, she lived in Germany for 3 years, Japan for 3 years, additionally in Florida, California, Texas, North Carolina and Arkansas. Rebecca shared her love of journey along with her daughter, Rachel, as they journeyed collectively to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, throughout Europe and all through Utah and Colorado, seeing as many nationwide parks as attainable. She loved birdwatching, nature and wildlife and had many beloved pets all through her lifetime.
