Doña Ana Region Payment elects with one voice to license 2022 political election

LAS CRUCES– The Doña Ana Region Board of Region Commissioners elected with one voice on Friday to license the 2022 basic political election canvass, an important action in confirming the political election.

4 commissioners elected to license the canvass, while the 5th, Susana Chaparro, was absent. A canvass is an in-depth audit after every political election to guarantee precision. In 2020, 2 region commissioners– Isabella Solis as well as Ramon Gonzalez– elected versus qualification. Neither gets on the present board.

” We simply quit working the other day,” Region Staff Amanda López Askin informed the compensation. The canvassing started Nov. 9, the day after the basic political election.
