Defending champion St. John Fisher College holds an 18-stroke lead after the primary two rounds of the 2022-23 Empire 8 Males’s Golf Championship, held at Timber Banks Golf Membership in Baldwinsville, NY on Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday Oct. 2.
The Cardinals have a crew rating of 633 strokes to guide second place SUNY Oswego (651), whereas Utica College is third general with a crew rating of 678 strokes. SUNY Oswego senior Ryan Fecco holds the person lead after the primary 36 holes, with a 10-over-par rating of 154 strokes. He shot equivalent first and second spherical scores of 77. He fired the second lowest spherical on Saturday and lowest spherical Sunday. Fecco holds a two-stroke lead over St. John Fisher’s Nick Tellone.
