Three gamers nominated for 2022 PGA TOUR Participant of the Yr

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FLORIDA – The PGA TOUR at present introduced nominees for the 2021-22 PGA TOUR Season Participant of the Yr (Jack Nicklaus Award) and Rookie of the Yr (Arnold Palmer Award), as finalized by the PGA TOUR Participant Administrators and members of the Participant Advisory Council (PAC).

The nominees for the Jack Nicklaus Award because the 2022 PGA TOUR Participant of the Yr are (alphabetically) Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Smith. The nominees for the 2022 Arnold Palmer Award because the PGA TOUR Rookie of the Yr are Tom Kim, Sahith Theegala and Cameron Younger.

The Participant of the Yr and Rookie of the Yr awards are decided by a member vote, with PGA TOUR members who performed in at the very least 15 official FedExCup occasions throughout the 2021-22 season eligible to vote. The voting will shut on Friday, Sept. 9, at 5 p.m. ET. The winners will likely be introduced at a later date.
